The Upton Blues Festival 2014 is fast approaching!
Nearly 100 gigs over the weekend, three main stages, ten pub stages and one boat stage. Featuring the Best of British Blues plus some from US and Nederlands too. Come for the weekend, camp in our excellent campsite and enjoy the most laid back, town filling, independent-vibed, happy, town festival experience – just look at last year’s feedback from the 1000′s and 1000′s of people who came! 
Everything you expect from the ‘Best Free Blues Festival in the UK’ is in place as we plan to make it bigger, better, safer and even more fun for 2014.

Set in the beautiful Worcestershire riverside town of Upton upon Severn, this will be our 13th – growing from a small event in a couple of pubs into what is now a festival  that swamps the town with thousands of music fans.
STILL EVERY GIG FREE TO ATTEND – EVERY PERFORMER PAID – AND WITH NO PUBLIC FUNDING OR MAJOR SPONSORSHIP!

Performances start between FRIDAY 6-11pm   –   SATURDAY noon – 11pm   –   SUNDAY noon – 11pm

Harmonica Workshop – Beginners

As part of our educational programme, this year we are running a BEGINNERS HARMONICA WORKSHOP with one of Europe’s finest – Lidewij Veenhuis of Bradley’s Circus. Held at the Memorial Hall on the Acoustic Stage, the Workshop starts at noon on Sunday.
The workshop is FREE but you will need to buy a harmonica in C which we will have for sale before the event for £10. Please come early to give yourself time to purchase your harmonica so we can start promptly at 12 noon.
Please do not reserve tickets for this event and then not come along, we had a number of  No-Shows for last year’s songwriting workshop which was disappointing for those we had turned away.
